Fishermen Favor What Kind of Earthworm?

The readers who surf the EarthWorm Digest website got it correct again.  In a poll posted on the website in January of 2007, the readers again chose the correct answer.  Here are the results to the poll.

The correct layman definitions for the above terminologies are:

Fisherman enjoy the large Nightcrawler which is the Lumbricus terrestris

Garden Worms are Helodrilus caliginosus

Manure Worms are Helodrilus foetidus

And Red Worms are Lumbricus rubellus
